FAQ
The complete ImmunoComb procedure takes approximately 23 minutes, following a simple step-by-step incubation process through the reagent wells.
ImmunoComb kits are available for a range of infectious diseases in dogs and cats, including Parvovirus, Distemper, Ehrlichia canis, Leptospira, Brucella canis, Toxoplasma gondii, Chlamydia psittaci, Feline Coronavirus (FIP), and others, depending on the specific kit.
ImmunoComb provides semi-quantitative antibody results based on color intensity comparison to a reference scale, allowing clinicians to assess relative antibody levels rather than a simple positive/negative result.
ImmunoComb tests require a small sample volume- 10 µL of whole blood or 5 µL of serum or plasma.
No additional laboratory equipment is required. The test is fully self-contained. Optional accessories such as RoboComb® (automated incubation) and CombCam® (digital result interpretation) are available to enhance workflow and consistency.
ImmunoComb tests can be performed in veterinary clinics, hospitals, and small laboratories. The system is designed for in-clinic use without the need for external lab support.
ImmunoComb demonstrates high sensitivity and specificity and has been independently validated in comparative studies against established reference laboratory methods.
Kits should be kept refrigerated at 2–8 °C (35–46 °F) when not in use, and brought to room temperature before testing.
Fresh whole blood should be refrigerated if used within a day. Serum/plasma can be refrigerated for up to three days or frozen for longer storage. Bring to room temperature before testing.
